Powerful Antioxidant Support for Horses

Not all Vitamin E supplements are created equal! Read here to learn how to differentiate one vitamin E supplement from another.

Vitamin E/C targets the horse’s immune system, and provides antioxidants. Antioxidants have been shown to aid in the elimination of unstable oxygen molecules called free radicals. Antioxidants help remove damaging free radicals, decrease oxidative damage, protect body cells and tissues, and maintain normal DNA. Vitamin E/C should be used to:

  1. Support normal detoxification processes.
  2. Support immune system function.
  3. Aid in the elimination of unstable oxygen molecules called free radicals.
  4. Help reduce free radical damage.
  5. Reduce oxidative stress.
  6. Provide antioxidant protection.
  7. Assist the body in combating environmental pollutants.
  8. Support normal cellular health and function.

    Vitamin E/C

Posted by Tracy Schmidt on Nov 16th 2023

This is a must have for those allergy horses. Even my picky eaters like it and the draining eyes and coughs have gone away during the worst allergy times. Most importantly this much vitamin E should keep EPM far away as well. Best boost I've seen during allergy time and I've tried them all. This will defiantly be a year around supplement for all of my horses.

    Works well

I bought a horse who was severely malnourished and has what appears to be shivers. I put him on this, as well as lifeline. He has blossomed in the month that I’ve had him, and I do think this is helping.

    Amazing Product!!!

For a while I have been feeding my horse a vitamin E supplement in the past, but recently his needs have changed after his Lyme disease flaring up again. I really like how this includes vitamin C to help support his immune system. Since being fed this product for the last month, I have seen a great improvement in himself and he enjoys the taste too!

    Fantastic Vitamin E

Posted by Rebeca Hazaleus on Jan 13th 2021

With several horses post EPM treatment, I needed a cost effective vitamin E supplement. Their quality hay and Bluebonnet feeds gives them quite a bit of what they need, but we still found ourselves needing to supplement these special needs horses. It needed to be readily absorbed, cost effective, and it had to be palatable to the horses. What’s the point of feeding something they won’t eat? I’m super pleased with Stride’s vitamin E/C. No fillers, everyone eats it, and it’s affordable! Plus, study why the Vitamin C is included, what it does, how the two work together ... there’s nothing on the market that compares to this!!

Best stuff for horses with allergies!

Posted by Jennifer Barnette on Sep 10th 2018

I have a allergy prone horse and always followed the less is more approach with him. Last year my trainer listened to a presentation from Equivision and came back and told me my horse needed E/C and I didn't listen. This spring I finally bought it and I have noticed a huge difference. My horse has always had a thin, soft coat that bleaches by July (he is black) very different from other Friesian's at the barn. After two months on E/C and I almost cried when I went to the barn yesterday and felt a nice short coat that felt thick and strong. I can't wait to try the entire immune function system with the fish oil factor and ADR.

    Hives be gone!

Posted by Maria Pieropan on Sep 10th 2018

Several years ago, my mare suffered from horrific hives -- even on her face -- that would not disappear in spite of my and my local vet's best efforts. I called Dr. Bill, who had guided me with other issues with this same mare since her long yearling days, and he explained the relationship between the hind gut, immunity and hives. We immediately incorporated Vitamin E and C into our daily regimen and haven't looked back!
